Tony Hawk

The Tony Hawk Last Trick Skateboard Collection was the follow-up to his animated Last Trick series from December 2021. After retiring five of his signature tricks and turning them into digital collectibles, we released a second collection in April 2022 featuring the actual physical boards he used to perform those tricks for the final time. I oversaw the full in-house production pipeline: our team 3D scanned and photographed each skateboard down to the component level—deck, trucks, wheels, bearings, hardware, including macro shots of Tony's signature for authentication—then I coordinated animation reviews as we built cinematic product reveals around them. Each piece opens with an exploded view, camera pushing in on authentication details before the components float back together and the board spins into frame. I also produced original audio for each piece with an external sound design vendor. The five boards (Frontside Cab, Finger Flip, Gymnast Plant, Magic Dance, Varial 540) were auctioned via fiat bids (USD) with no minimum through DraftKings Marketplace, with winners receiving both the physical signed board and the digital piece.
